1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Art’s Cyclery website and services (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have consent from a parent or guardian.
3. Products and Availability
We sell bicycles, electric bicycles (e-bikes), components, accessories, apparel, and related products.
- All products are subject to availability
- We reserve the right to limit quantities
- We may discontinue products at any time
- Product descriptions and pricing may contain errors; we reserve the right to correct them
4. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are in U.S. dollars
- Prices may change without notice
- We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing or listing errors
- Payment must be completed before shipment
5. Orders and Acceptance
We may refuse or cancel any order, including for:
- Suspected fraud
- Inventory issues
- Pricing errors
If canceled after payment, a full refund will be issued.
6. Shipping, Delivery, and Risk of Loss
- Shipping times are estimates only
- Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery
- You are responsible for providing accurate shipping details
- We are not liable for carrier delays or lost packages once shipped

General rules:
- Items must be unused and in original packaging

8. In-Store Pickup

9. Bicycle Assembly & Safety Disclaimer
Bicycles and components require proper assembly, adjustment, and maintenance.
By purchasing from us, you acknowledge:
- Improper assembly or maintenance can result in serious injury or death
- You are responsible for ensuring proper installation and safe use
- We strongly recommend professional assembly and inspection by a qualified bike mechanic
Art’s Cyclery is not liable for injuries resulting from improper assembly, misuse, or failure to maintain equipment.
10. Assumption of Risk (Cycling Activities)
Cycling is an inherently dangerous activity.
By purchasing and using products sold by Art’s Cyclery, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with cycling, including:
- Collisions with vehicles, objects, or other riders
- Equipment failure
- Terrain hazards
You agree that Art’s Cyclery is not liable for injuries or damages arising from these risks.
11. E-Bike Compliance and Use
Electric bicycles are subject to laws and regulations.
By purchasing an e-bike, you agree:
- To comply with all applicable laws, including those in California
- To understand local classifications (Class 1, 2, 3) and usage restrictions
- To operate the e-bike safely and responsibly
You are solely responsible for compliance with local regulations.
12. Lithium Battery & Hazardous Materials Notice
E-bike batteries are lithium-ion and may be classified as hazardous materials.
- Improper use, charging, or storage may result in fire or injury
- Follow all manufacturer guidelines
- Shipping restrictions may apply
- We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse or improper handling
13. California Proposition 65 Warning
Some products may expose you to chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm under California Proposition 65.

14. Manufacturer Warranties
Products may include manufacturer warranties.
- We do not provide additional warranties unless explicitly stated

Art’s Cyclery shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or use
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.
17. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site (logos, images, text, design) is owned by Art’s Cyclery or its licensors.
You may not use or reproduce content without permission.
18. User Content
If you submit content (reviews, photos, etc.):
- You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use it
- You confirm it does not violate laws or third-party rights
