About the bike:
In an age where every Trail bike “Descends like a DH rig and climbs like an XC race bike” Trevor decided to take a different path. Trevor’s Nomad build is currently set up to slay descents and climb comfortably from the shuttle vehicle to the trailhead, or from the bottom of the last bike park run of the day to your car. While that climbing handicap can be almost entirely placed on a SRAM 7-speed DH X01 group with a 10-24 cassette, 2.5? Maxxis tires and a 170 mm fork don’t positively contribute to uphill speed either. The drivetrain’s crisp shifts and rear derailleur security are worth it though, as that’s all part of why full-DH bikes are so fun to ride. So—is the bike practical? Probably not, but If you happen to have a 7-speed group collecting dust, then we’d highly recommend finding a long-travel Enduro bike for it. Riding this bike is pretty rad and the looks Trevor gets when people realize what he’s riding for an after-work spin are priceless.
