Packed with performance, the R076 is a terrific entry level shoe. Three velcro hook-and-loop straps reduce pressure points, dual layer mesh provides excellent breathability, and a lightweight glass fiber reinforced-polyamide sole balances stiffness and compliance and is also ventilated at the toe. Another nice aspect of the R076 that you won't find on more expensive shoes is the SPD compatible cleat mounts. SPD pedals are typically easier to get out of and certainly easier to get into (since most SPD pedals are dual sided). This is convenient if you're new to clip-less pedals. The perfect shoe for club racing or a Saturday coffee ride.
