The 7900 rear derailleur is proof that Shimano can make aluminum look and behave however they want it to. This cold-forged, machined and anodized work of art looks and behaves like a Formula One race car. It even adds carbon fiber to shave 15 grams off last years model. The carbon cage not only looks pretty, but is 6 mm longer to accommodate the extra chain needed to run Shimano's new extended range cassettes.

Designed to optimize the advantages afforded by the new 7900 shifters, chain and cassettes, the 7900 rear derailleur is the final piece in your drivetrain puzzle.
