Ritchey's WCS Carbon Matrix C260 stem is the pinnacle of their stem line, taking the place of the WCS Matrix 44 Axis. The C260 design—"C" refers to the bar clamp shape, and 260 references the degrees in a circle that C takes up—is at once stiffer, lighter, and stronger than the 44 Axis stem, which means it must be one of the stiffest, lightest, and strongest stems available from anyone.
You'll notice that the C260 Carbon is a bit heavier than it's aluminum kin (~115 g compared to ~110 g). That's because the carbon is wrapped around a machined aluminum body resulting in a stem that's 14% stiffer than the aluminum version.
