Pearl Izumi has three levels of clothing, the Select Series, the Elite Series and Pro Series. Each level has its advantages and disadvantages. For example, when you buy a Pro level jersey, the advantage is superior moisture wicking, the disadvantage is you're now wearing spandex, it's super tight, and (let's be honest) you look kinda silly. If you tend to feel more comfortable in a t- shirt than a cycling jersey, the Select Full Zip Jersey is for you. Though it's called a "jersey" the Select Full Zip fits like a relaxed pair of jeans - not so loose that you need to have jewelry around your neck to pull it off, but not so tight that you need to stop showering and buy a fixie. With enough technical features to make it advantageous over a t-shirt (like three back pockets, a full zipper, a dropped tail with silicone grippers, and Select Sensor-Transfer fabric) the Select Full Zip Jersey is a great choice for the casual rider who still wants comfort.
