The R085 is the A4 of Shimano's road shoe line-up. It's not an S4 and certainly not an RS4, but it's still and Audi. Same platform, similar features, not as much horsepower. Shimano is the trickle-down king in the cycling industry, neither Sram nor Campy's medium priced component's work as reliably over the long-haul. Shimano's shoes are no different. The R085 packs three straps (2 hook-and-loop, 1 buckle) to minimize pressure points, a fiberglass reinforced nylon sole provides stiffness where it counts. An anatomically curved upper gives impeccable foot stability and comfort, and a nylon mesh upper maintains breathability. Shimano's trickle-down comes through again.
