Sometimes a product comes along that is so close
to perfect, so optimized for what it does, that we
just have to sit back and stare. That's exactly what
we did the first time we saw a pair of Zero
Gravity's, and that's exactly what we do every time
a new pair comes out of their box. We admire the
pro-level CNC work, the clean, minimalist design,
and of course, they're !@#$ light! 196
grams with pads. Thats 70 grams lighter
than Red, 83 grams lighter than Campy Skeletons,
and 119 grams lighter than Dura-Ace. Their being
incredibly light does nothing to compromise stopping
power either. Most of us agree that they work just
as well as, and better than some of, the above-
mentioned rim grabbers.
A lot obviously goes into making these brakes as great as they are, but the power cam is what gives them their strength. The power cam sits of to the side of the caliper arch and anchors the brake cable. What it does for you is increase leverage the more you pull on your lever, giving you more power when you need it.
Made out of 7075 aluminum (arms and cam), stainless steel (various bolts and washers), and titanium (pad fixing bolt, brake arch bolt, and power cam bolt), each part has been chosen for maximum performance and weight reduction. The Swisstop Yellow Kings brake pads are optimized for carbon fiber rims, but will work fine with your aluminum training wheels as well.
