First of all, the 3T ARX Team 31.8 stem is only 120 grams, thanks to precise forging, machining, and titanium bolts. That's two measly grams more than the all carbon LTD version, and much stronger. Currently, you can find this exact stem on Thor Hushovd's and all of the Cervelo Test Team bikes as well as Christian Vande Velde's and the Garmin Slipstream rides. Plus, 3T designed this stem to provide adequate force to carbon bars without causing any potentially damaging side effects—like stress-risers or uneven clamp force. And you gotta love that red stripe.
