Return Information

Free Shipping/Free Return offer is available only to orders shipped to street addresses within the 48 Contiguous States. Orders shipping to a Post Office (P.O.) Box or Alaska and Hawaii are not eligible for the Free Shipping/Free Returns offer.

Bikes, trainers, racks and other oversized items are not eligible for free return shipping. If you need to return an oversized item please contact us directly for instructions. For International returns, please refer to the International page.

Returns

Return shipping for orders received within the contiguous United States is free. A complimentary UPS Ground return label is placed in every package shipped within the continental United States. Please allow 7-10 working days for the shipment to arrive back into our warehouse after you have shipped the package.

To prepare your domestic return shipment:

  • Fill out the enclosed "Return Shipping and Exchange Information" form and indicate if you would like an exchange or refund (PDF of form available here).
  • Place the items you would like to return along with a copy of the "Return Shipping and Exchange Information" form back into the original shipping box or the provided soft pack.
  • Securely tape your shipment closed.
  • Attach the enclosed UPS return label to the outside of the box or soft pack.
  • Write down the return label shipping number for future reference.

To ship your domestic return back to Art’s Cyclery:

Drop the box off at any authorized UPS Service Station or UPS building. To find the UPS Service Station closest to you click here. You can also return your shipment by handing your package to a UPS driver. Please allow 7-10 working days for the shipment to arrive back into our warehouse after you have shipped the package.

Your return label is good for 60 days from the original invoice date. Returns are not accepted after 60 days except in the case of a warranty.

Return Guidelines

Any item being returned needs to be in new, unused condition with all the original packaging included. Item cannot show any signs of installation.

If an item came as a promo with another item (i.e. free socks with shoe purchase), both need to be returned to receive a full refund. If only one is returned, the current price of the unreturned item will be deducted from your refund.

Products damaged in shipping or with blemishes must be returned within 30 days.

Special ordered items and custom built items are not returnable.

Returned bicycles may require a restocking fee.

Gift Cards

Gift Cards are not returnable.

Clothing

All clothing must be returned unwashed and unstained with the original tags still attached.

Clothing that has been worn and/or washed, cannot be exchanged or returned.

Shoes

Please return your shoes in new condition and in their original box. You are welcome to try on the shoes to ensure proper fit, but please keep them on a clean, carpeted surface when trying them on for fit to maintain their new condition.

Please make sure the shoes fit properly before attaching the cleats. Once the cleats are attached, the shoes cannot be returned or exchanged.

Please use the box the shoes were shipped in to return shoes. Do not place any shipping labels or tape directly on the original manufacturer's shoebox.

Return Instructions for orders received outside the Continental US

To prepare your return shipment:

  • Place the items you would like to return along with a copy of the "Return Shipping and Exchange Information" form back into the original shipping box or soft pack. Securely tape your shipment closed.
  • To ship your return back to Art’s Cyclery: Drop the return shipment off with your preferred carrier. You will be responsible for all shipping charges with your preferred carrier. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable.

International Customers please note:
Any customs fees incurred by Art’s Cyclery will be deducted from your refund.

Products must be returned within 60 days from the date of your invoice in new, store-bought condition and in the original packaging to receive a credit to your account.

Defective Product/Warranty

Art's Cyclery wants you to be completely satisfied with everything we offer. All products suspected to be defective can be shipped back to Art's Cyclery at any time provided they are still under the manufacturer's warranty period. When received Art's Cyclery will determine whether the defective product is a warranty or not. If it is, an exact replacement will be sent to you or credit of the purchase price will be added to your account. If not, the item will be returned to you. Limitations of warranty policy:

  1. Item must be within manufacturer’s warranty period – this info can be found on our website under the "Features" tab of each product.
  2. Items with visible crash damage will not be considered for warranty.
  3. We must have product in hand before we can send out a replacement. For faster turn around time you are welcome to send the item back at a faster shipping rate at your expense. All domestic warranty items will be shipped via UPS Ground from Art’s Cyclery back to you.
  4. International claims must be carried through the local distributer of the product. If the local distributer won't take care of your warranty Art's Cyclery will take care of it, however you must pay for shipping it back to us. Contact your local customs authority also because you should be able to recoup your customs fees.
  5. Crank Brothers, Garmin, Kind Shock (KS), Look, Oakley, Ritchey and Time product warranties must be handled directly with the manufacturer. Unfortunately, Art's Cyclery cannot take care of warranties from these companies.
  6. If determined that your item is defective and under warranty, and you choose a replacement, a replacement will be sent back to you at no charge.
  7. If item is determined to not be defective/warranty it will be returned to you at your expense. Credits/refunds for broken product will not be given.

Please send defective products to the address above with your name, clearly written instructions indicating whether you would like a credit or a replacement and a clear description of the defect.

If you are unsure whether your product is a warranty, you are welcome to take pictures of the defect and send them to info@artscyclery.com with a description of the defect. Most of the time we will be able to tell you whether the defect is a warranty or not.
