Cervelo

Cervelo Cycles saw the light of day in 1995 when two engineers, Phil white and Gerard Vroomen, decided to take the work they had been doing on developing faster Time Trial bikes to market. Their mission was simple: To help customers win races. After 15 years, it is safe to say that mission has been accomplished with over 30 Ironman victories, a top-ranked Pro Tour Cycling Team, and the title of the world's largest manufacturer of time trial and triathlon bikes.

Cervelo launched in 1996 with two road and two time trial/triathlon models. The bikes were immediately at the leading edge of technology, and Cervelo has always made a commitment to developing the best product possible. This relentless pursuit of excellence will continue to remain the company's focus. Cervelo would rather spend $25,000 on a wind-tunnel research session than invest in a marketing campaign.

In 2009, Cervelo became the first bike manufacturer in the modern era to have its own cycling team at the highest levels of racing. The Cervelo Test Team saw tremendous success in its first season with numerous international victories. Equally important for Cervelo is that the team will allow a more effective use of professional riders in the development of new products.

With cutting edge technology and a commitment to producing the fastest bikes on the planet, Cervelo will continue its ascent toward the top of the cycling industry in the years to come.
