As part of the relentless pursuit of speed and efficiency, aerodynamic helmets are gaining a solid foothold in the pro peloton. Since the margin of victory is often less than a wheel length, the efficiency created by aerodynamic gear can mean the difference between first and second place. Specialized’s Evade S-Works Helmet helps to squeeze every last advantage out of your race effort, evading wind drag like no other helmet.

Specialized’s S-Works products are bestowed with limitless development and construction efforts, which is evident when looking at and using the Evade. Incorporating data from the McLaren TT helmet that was developed at their own wind tunnel, Specialized has managed to combine the wind slicing abilities of the McLaren TT with the abundant ventilation of the Prevail. Comfort was also a major priority, so Specialized included the ultra-light Mindset retention system.

The Evade is not a variant of an existing product—it’s a completely new helmet that was modeled from the ground up. Testing definitively shows the Evade has a lower drag coefficient, resulting in greater energy reserves for the final sprint to glory.
