The Avatar is an all-day race saddle. Designed in Specialized's Body Geometry Fit labs, the Avatar Comp Gel has a slim shape but with a slightly larger surface area and increased padding. Gel inserts under the sit area are designed to relieve sit-bone soreness while the anatomic cut-out relieves blood flow to the arteries. Quality appointments include a carbon reinforced shell to resist sagging over time, medium density EVA padding, hollow chromoly rails, and a tough but supple Micromatrix cover. Specialized also allows you to choose your width to get the support you need. It's a well designed and excellently crafted saddle that shines on long rides and all day epics.
