Sometimes small refinements are best. Campagnolo brakes have always been excellent at slowing you down, but now, Campagnolo offers the ability to save weight and increase power. Campagnolo now offers a rear Dual-Pivot option for its brakes which undoubtedly increases stopping power. They have also reformulated the brake pad compound to stop faster and the holders to be lighter. This means that for the new Campagnolo Chorus Skeleton brakeset, you get improved stopping power and lighter wieght whether you opt for the D-Skeleton (single pivot rear) or Dual Pivot Skeleton brakeset.

The new pad holders use an ingenious spring loaded design which is safer but also makes it easier to change pads than any other holders we've seen.

The D-Skeleton Brake set does not have the dual pivot rear brake. The single pivot option offers greater modulation. If you don't ride in super hilly areas, the D-Skeleton brakes will stop you perfectly. If you frequent high mountain passes, the Dual Pivot Skeleton is for you.
